Open Source is The Sauce

We made a conscious decision when starting our business to use Open Source software for the ImmoTrack Online service. Our services are based on Traccar, customised by our team for our branding and unique vehicle immobilisation and Safe Engine Cut Off (SECO) capabilities, as well as general UI improvements.

Much like the Linux operating system, the source code for Traccar is freely available to be reviewed by anyone, so it is impossible for a security vulnerability in the Traccar software to be hidden from us. If there are security vulnerabilities, we’ll be notified, allowing us to implement the necessary fixes or additional security controls to keep your data safe.

Best of all, there’s no ability for the software to suddenly disappear. As Traccar is Open Source software, it can be customised or continuously developed by us - which we already do today!
