I Can has CANBus?
We’ve always got something on the boil here at ImmoTrack Online, and today is no different! Available now is the ImmoTrack Advanced, our GPS tracking model from Teltonika which supports immobilisation and dual CANBus monitoring!
The dual what?
Dual CANBus!
Alright, nerd hat removed. The ImmoTrack Advanced can be tapped into your vehicle’s computer networks (they’re called CANBus) and monitor your vehicle for health and security. The list of available features is long - too long to list them all here, but a great summary is:
Engine health statistics such as engine temperature, oil pressure, and fluid levels
Status of doors, lights, and door locks
Odometer/Mileage
Who’s this for?
Data nerds!
Anyone who needs that extra data on their vehicle, or extra assurance on whether someone’s trying to get access to the car. We believe strongly in our vehicle security and its ability to stop your car being stolen, but that extra early warning that someone is in the car might be just what you’re looking for.
Commercial fleets
Fleet vehicles are an excellent candidate if your business needs reliable logging of safe and proper vehicle usage. You can choose to have alerts (or even just logging) of important driver behaviour statistics. Just make sure you’ve followed all employment and privacy laws regarding appropriate notification of vehicle monitoring!
You can even be notified when it’s time for maintenance!
And the big boys.
The ImmoTrack Advanced also has one more Ace up its sleeve: J1939 support. If you have heavy equipment or heavy vehicles that support the J1939 monitoring standard, we’ve got you covered.
It doesn’t even need a steering wheel; the red fella shown below is a Morbark 4600 wood grinder. Powered by a CAT 3412E, 1,000 horsepower 27-litre 12-cylinder diesel - and it’s now monitored by ImmoTrack Advanced with all engine safety data available in realtime.
Engine monitoring. Covered.
That very same Morbark 4600 is monitoring core engine parameters, with alerts sent immediately if any of them get out of the safe range. You can even have daily, weekly, or monthly reports sent to you showing how your equipment is performing over time.
All data shown here is collected directly off the CANbus network on the engine controller. No fudged numbers.
Alerting on the values for your equipment
Need custom engine alarm parameters? Just set the safe operating ranges for your equipment or vehicle.
